ABOUT THE CAST
ERIN KATE HOWARD (WOMAN) previously appeared as Cleopatra in Antony & Cleopatra with Rochester Community Players and in the 24 hours Plays as Halloween with Writers & Books at The Rochester International Fringe Festival, at JCC Centerstage as Tracy Jones in the world premiere of Stephen Kaplan’s Tracy Jones and in the regional premiere of Gloria: A Life in the role of Gloria Steinem. At Blackfriars Silent Sky (Annie Jump Cannon), Twelfth Night (Olivia). At The Company Theatre's Richard II and The Seagull. Erin-Kate has an MFA in acting from Catholic University of America.
ABOUT THE CREW
HLARY BLUESTIEN-LYONS (PLAYWRIGHT) - is a playwright, screenwriter, poet, stand-up comic, director, comedy improviser, and actor. They received a degree in Creative Writing (poetry) from the University of Arizona and an MFA in Writing for Stage and Screen from the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Their plays, Call My Dead Wife and HisStory are published through Next Stage Press. Petrified Forest is included in the Smith & Kraus anthology, Best 10-Minute Plays of 2022. A monologue from Martin's Treehouse is included in the Smith & Kraus anthology, Best Men's Monologues of 2022. And a monologue from their musical, Clothing, is included in the Smith & Kraus anthology, WE/US: Monologues for Gender Minority Characters. Their play, Tighten Your Borscht Belt, was a semifinalist with the O’Neill Playwrights Conference. Several of their plays have been produced throughout the country. Hilary lives in Los Angeles, CA and is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and Honor Roll! an advocacy group of women+ playwrights over 40.
LINDSAY WARREN BAKER (DIRECTOR) - is grateful for the opportunity to once again “fringe it” Hilary Bluestein-Lyons after working on Earth and Moon for the Oh, the Non-Humanity! last year. Other previous RF Festival projects include: The Shadow of the Hummingbird (hummingbird theatre co.) and the 2019 24-Hour Plays (Writers & Books). Upcoming: We’ve Got Our Eye on You - intimacy director (Eastman Opera Theatre - November 2023), The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley - stage director (Blackfriars Theatre - December 2023), and Beautiful - stage director (JCC CenterStage - May 2024).
